Message from our Director Victoria Edwards
Welcome to Diligent Offspring Nursery!
My name is Victoria Edwards, and I am honored to serve as the Director of this wonderful nursery. With over two decades of experience in the field of education, I have acquired a robust academic background, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Drama, and Education, as well as a Master of Arts in Creative and Digital Writing. Furthermore, I have pursued a Post Graduate Certificate of Education specializing in Early Years Education.
While I have had the opportunity to instruct both primary and secondary school classes, my particular expertise lies in catering to children with unique learning requirements. Throughout my career, I have provided individualized support to students in various schools across London.
My dedication to education has also taken me beyond national borders, as I have had the privilege of working with children in diverse settings, including Japan, Kenya, and Guyana.
As a former working parent myself, I am honored to contribute to the establishment of a nursery facility in Wembley. This nursery will offer specialized assistance to children with special needs, with a core mission of providing a secure, welcoming, and joyful environment that eases the demands of working, studying, and busy parents.
Our team and I are excited to embark on this educational journey with your children, and we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for their growth and development.

Nursery Manager/ Senior Consultant
My name is Tima Gerin and my career in education and social projects spans over two decades. The initial training I had was in the Montessori method. Montessori was born in 1870, in Italy, and was one of the first females who graduated as a doctor and educator. Her ideas were not only unique but very progressive too. For example, she discovered that the child develops himself through purposeful activity, learns best in a home-like setting, and the most important years for learning are from birth to six years as during this time the child goes through ‘sensitive periods’. Since my training in Montessori, I pursued further educational courses, and Montessori ideas were very often reinforced. I am a big fan of Montessori and her method.
I have worked with students from pre-primary to undergraduate level as a teacher, lecturer, and senior leader/adviser in the UK and internationally. I was very fortunate to work with professionals from all over the world on different projects that exposed me to different curricula such as EYFS, Australian, NVQ, EFL, Higher Education, and American Common Core curriculum.
I am delighted that at Diligent Offspring Nursery School, children will have the opportunity to develop and learn through both the Montessori and EYFS curriculum.
